These are my Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon profiles. I have searched all over the net, through my tapes, worked with others and stayed up for long periods of time to bring these profiles to you. I hope you find them informative and entertaining. I have made sure all of the information presented here is accurate and correct. If you find something that you think is wrong, don't just sit there and complain to yourself, tell me about it! Tell me what you think is wrong and where I can see evidence for your point of view. These profiles are constsantly changing as I find, or are kindly given, more information.

Important notes:

• As with any language, things can be translated differently. Some of the names could be spelled in English a couple of different ways.
• All birthdates are astrologically correct for the corresponding sign and all attacks are also linked to their planet/element.
• In Japanese pop culture, since the early '80's, blood type has been thought to be related to personality. Profiles of popular people or characters from manga, anime and video games will often include blood type along with other statistics like age, zodiac sign, date and place of birth. Here's a basic guide to the blood types, a whole lot more to it with +/-, but you can research that yourself:
  • A: nervous, introverted, honest, loyal
  • B: outgoing, optimistic, adventurous
  • AB: proud, diplomatic, discriminating
  • O: workaholic, insecure, emotional
• The "no" at the end of most of the names is a pun. The kanji corresponding to the planet/element is at the start of their name, and "no" means "of". The Japanese word "no" works in reverse order from "of", so the names sound like they mean: "name" of "planet/element".
• In the manga, everyone entered high school in Super S. They were supposed to enter high school in the anime durring Super S, but something got messed up.
• All ages in this character guide are from Sailor Stars, the last series, which ended on 2-8-97
• Items with a (m) in front of them are from the manga.
• I DID NOT make any of the attacks up, or anything else for that matter. There were a couple things I had to SWAG on however.
• The DiC/Cloverway dub has gone up to the end of SMSS. There are no official names for any characters that appear in Sailor Stars. Due to the more mature nature of Sailor Stars it is currently unknown if anyone will liscense it. Also Pioneer is releasing S, SS and all three movies on DVD, with rumors floating around about the first two seasons. On a side note, there are fan names for the "undubbed" characters. But those are from fandubs and are only used by a few fans; most of us use the original names.
• I've included info from the NA dub for a couple of reasons. 1) Because it would be stupid to make a whole seperate profile with NASM info. 2) It makes things easier for new fans to learn. 3) It lets you see how idiotic some of the changes are!
• Again, there ARE spoilers here.

Powers: Rei's anti-evil attack (it's not really an attack) is a power she gets from being a Shinto shrine maiden and it shows up in series other than Sailor Moon.

• "Rin, pyou, tou, sha, kai, jin, restu, sai, zen. Akuryou Taisan!" The last two words mean "evil spirit, begone!" and she uses a magic paper called an "ofuda."

Name meaning: "Minako" is a somewhat of a Japanese pun. "Mi" and "ko" can also be pronounced as "Bi" and "su", making it "Binasu", the Japanese pronunciation of "Venus". Also note that Minako was named before Naoko started the naming pattern.
